About me

My favorite passtimes are reading American, European, British, and Russian history, writing stories, and love playing music of all types. I work for the State of California in an office that has some of the most likeable people I've ever had the pleasure to know. I live on an island directly across from San Francisco and live close to Crown Beach, a great place to walk and see some of the most vivid pastel sunsets that often includes the band of color between the blue and the pink called Venus's Girdle, a pale mint julep green. Supposedly, this is a very rare phenomenon but we see it here very often at dusk during the summer. I also like shopping in second hand shops just to see what I can find....almost like treasure hunting! I love finding extra ordinary items like a special dish or platter or poster in a complimentary frame. I also enjoy making jewelry, mostly with polished stones and Italian beads and lampwork beads, my favorite. I read mysteries, I love reading Loren Coleman's website and I certainly keep up with all the news about expeditions seeking Sasquatch and supposedly extinct teratorns. I've seen four huge birds that were definitely NOT eagles, vultures, or condors. They are certainly out there; people just have to start looking up a whole lot more!
